Chocolate Marscarpone Truffles

(Based on this recipe. Can be used as a base for further additions of cinnamon, brandy, orange zest, etc.)

Ingredients:

1 package (250 g) mascarpone cheese

125 g dark chocolate

125 g semi-sweet or milk chocolate

200 g dark chocolate (for coating)

4 Tbsp unsalted butter (for coating)

Preparation:

Melt the chocolate. Set aside to cool down a little.

Beat the mascarpone on medium speed until fluffy (15-20 seconds).

Mix both and refrigerate for about an hour and a half.

Take the bowl out. Form little round balls of walnut size. Put back in the fridge while making the coating.

Meanwhile melt the remaining chocolate and butter. Dip in the balls, cover well, set aside on a baking sheet. Put back in the fridge and wait until the coating has set (about an hour).

Best kept refrigerated.
