A Midnight Call

A thought, a signal, a call, an action. Don’t get disturbed. Follow your guts. Listen carefully. Mind the time. Sometimes it’s all just a matter of minutes…

Tuna Steak Sesame Salad

(inspired by a recipe from “ITSU. The Cookbook.”)

Ingredients:

2 small tuna steaks
1 Tbsp Japanese soy sauce
1 tsp grape-seed oil
a handfull of grean leaves (baby spinach, lamb’s lettuce, arugula, etc.)
sesame dressing
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Preparation:

1. Put the tuna steaks on a plate and pour the soy sauce over them. Turn to cover steaks completely in the sauce.

2. Heat the frying pan until really hot. Add the oil, then fry the tuna steaks for about 30 seconds-1 minute (depending on their thickness) on each side. The perfect steak should remain a little pink in the middle.

3. Cut the steaks in stripes. Serve on the lettuce. Sprinkle with your favorite sesame dressing and toasted sesame seeds.
